If you are unfamiliar with IPSL programs and wish to read about the benefits of international service-learning, you might want to read “Why Service-Learning?” at http://ipsl.org/programs/servicelearning.html.
Please note that IPSL does not award credit for service. Credit is awarded for demonstrated learning in academic courses at the host university, and the service experience is drawn upon as a valuable resource for learning about the culture.
If you are an advocate of service-learning, visit our Service-Learning Advocacy section at http://ipsl.org/advocacy/advocacy.html to read the IPSL Declaration of Principles; learn about our service-learning conferences and workshops; order IPSL Press publications, including resources for study abroad advisors; and learn how to get involved with IPSL. |
