Concept Mapping: CMap
In the first of these two mapping workshops, we will look at CMap, a freeware concept mapping program used by NASA and others. CMap is collaborative (more than a single user can work on a map and extend the map by including other maps) and distributive (a free CMap server is available so that maps can be hosted locally). CMap improves upon similar free products with its superior display qualities on the computer screen, to a printer, and as a graphic file.
