Grant Summary
The Hiram College Education Department proposal is to conduct a pilot study in which six teacher candidates will complete their senior capstone projects using Sakai ePortfolio. A team from across the campus, including the six target students, will receive professional development experiences to facilitate this adaptation of the Teacher Work Sample. The major goals of the grant are to work as a collaborative professional development team to gain proficiency in the use of the Sakai course management software, to complete the pilot project, and to evaluate the use of technology in enhancing the student teachers’ learning through the ePortfolio experience.
