Educational Technology (ET) provides technological and pedagogical support for faculty and academic staff, creating a technologically-sound learning environment for the students of Kent State’s eight campuses. ET offers a wide range of support that includes assisting faculty and departments in developing distance learning programs and degrees with course management tools (ie; WebCT VISTA), synchronous and asynchronous learning technologies, and custom applications. The support and production of electronic media such as CD-ROMS, DVD’S, and web-based materials allows faculty to organize, advertise, and visually project educational concepts to their students, while campus-wide classroom assistance provides and maintains educational technology within the classroom.
