Publications

The Faculty Professional Development Center offers faculty four uniquely different newsletters.
Learning Links
ignition
The Monthly Newsletter of the OLN NE Regional Center Ignition, focuses on a different learning community each month, and also includes features on current issues in science and science education, technology, and relevant journals. Each issue features updates on the individual learning communities for the current year, providing details on their learning objects to share with the broader ISLS community. Interviews with participants and visits with program graduates keep the community apprised of the program’s progress toward its long-term goals for change in Ohio’s science education.

Perspective takes the dimensions of student learners and faculty experiences to help describe a third dimension - their engagement together in the KSU experience. The fpdc looks for a timely and/or time tested issue and puts a human context with them in each edition to help broaden the critical reflection and activities by faculty members.
