A wide range of equipment and informational resources are available in the Faculty Professional Development Center. Available resources include: equipment that can be borrowed, an informational library with books, journals, handouts and tapes, computer workstations, printers and scanners, and numerous other teaching and learning supports.
Computer workstations are open to faculty throughout the calendar year. Scanning, video projects, web design and development are some of the options available.
A variety of equipment is available for loan to faculty. Digital cameras, a laptop computer, and an audio voice recorder are available to faculty and graduate assistants.
A faculty classroom is available for department / campus meetings, special one-on-one group collaboration projects or faculty who wish to document the scholarship of teaching and learning within their classrooms.
The fpdc Faculty Classroom is used for workshops, seminars, meetings and a host of other faculty and department collaborations. Housed within the fpdc studio is a resource materials library complete with books, journals, magazines, handouts, and faculty tenure and promotion files. Most resource materials can be borrowed while others such as Tenure and Promotion files must be viewed in the fpdc studio.
